Call me Manda. I’m married to a dude who bears a striking resemblance to Captain America. Despite the fact that I live nestled between the beach and the mountains and have been known to run a marathon or two, I’m pretty indoorsy. You can take your fancy backpack and hike it on up the mountain, y’all. I’ll keep the snacks and see you when you get back because staying at a hotel is about as much camping as I want to do.
I’m a stay-at-home mom to our three young kids. I love being a mom and I love writing. I’ve always known I would do both. On the side I’m a runner and an enthusiastic spray-painter. I also love to cook and bake and write things on chalkboards. I’ve worn and wear many hats: college teacher, high school track & cross country coach, youth worker, pastor’s wife, adopted mom, big sister, auntie, and friend. I am most passionate about understanding and following Jesus, loving my husband well, being the best mom I can be to my three very spirited children, and fighting injustice & poverty locally and internationally.
I love feedback in the way of comments and email. Feel free to contact me at insidedog[at]gmail[dot]com.
